What does the SUNHID XENON light system kit include?
• Every one of our kits is made from OEM grade materials that have been CE / TUV approved.
• Each kit includes: 2 direct plug-in HID XENON. 2 lamps, 2 ballasts (transformer / igniter unit), all necessary wiring, complete and easy to
follow installation instructions.
Why are Xenon lights better than traditional halogen lights?
• Xenon lights use less energy.
Xenon lights only consume 35W making then 3 times more efficient than traditional halogen lights.
• Xenon lights have a longer lifetime
Xenon lights last more than 3000 hours which is 6 times more than the life of traditional halogen lights.
• Xenon lights save lives
Xenon lights illuminate 300% more than traditional halogen lights. In bad weather conditions or at night, you can see more objects like pedestrians, cyclists, road workers and traffic signs. This gives you more time to react and prevent accidents.
• Xenon light is more natural
The light emitted from HID Xenon light is closer to the natural light emitted by the sun. It is whiter and more attractive than the yellow light emitted by traditional halogen lights.
What is colour temperature?
Many people believe that the higher the colour temperature the brighter the lamp. This is totally wrong. The colour temperature is purely a scale to measure the colour of the light output. It is a reference purely for colour and could equally be called White, Green or Blue. The reality is the higher up the scale the lamps are the less bright they become. 6000K lamps are approx 15% brighter (measured in Lumens, not degrees K) than the 8000K. If you want lighting performance the 6000K HID lamps are the best. In our opinion 8000K has the best and most attractive light output.

What should I do if I touch the bulb?
Never touch the bulb glass with your skin as oil from your hands can shorten the life of the bulb. If you do touch the bulb, remove these oils with alcohol and a very soft cotton cloth.
How long do they last?
SUNHID lamps are designed to last for the life of your vehicle. Under normal conditions these bulbs will last a little shorter than your factory bulbs because they are so much brighter they sacrifice life for light. Off road or in racing conditions they will last shorter still.They will run for over 3000 hours. Our lamp kits and bulbs are made of the finest materials available.

Could I Install the kit myself?
For anyone who is mechanically inclined, this installation is considered "do-it-yourself". While a typical installation takes approximately an hour, it can vary depending on application (conversion or auxiliary). Our kits are ready to install right-out-of-the-box and come complete with everything that you will need. We also provide you a full set of easy-to-read, step-by-step instructions to guide you.
Could I re-install the original halogen bulbs after the SUNHID XENON kit has been installed?
With the growing popularity of leasing vehicles, a big concern is whether or not you can bring the vehicle back to its original factory condition. Our kits install with little or no modifications to your vehicle. If need be, the entire kit can be removed and the original halogen bulbs replaced. This kit can be re-installed into another vehicle that uses the same bulb size.
